• Return V8 Supercars to the city. This event is critical to city traders. The event must be largely self-supporting.
• Support for grassroots sport. Encourage childrens’ participation but reward excellence.
• Increase sports grants, especially in the regions.
• Improved school sports funding. Compulsory sports in schools.
• Lobby peak sporting bodies to contribute financially to grassroots sports from local gate takings and sponsorships.
• Support women’s rights to a fair playing field by allowing only biological women to compete in women’s events and competitions.
